Role: Java Backend Developer Experience: 6 to 9 years Work Locations: Ramanujan IT City, Tharamani, Chennai & MindSpace Hi-Tech City, Madhapur, Hyderabad Work Model: Hybrid Time Zone : General shift Website Address: https://www.thryvedigital.com/ Parent Organization: https://www.highmarkhealth.org/hmk/index.shtml Role Summary: Essential Responsibilities • Takes a lead role for analyzing, designing, coding, testing and implementing more complex application enhancements, as well as providing general production support, meeting defined scope, target dates and budgets with minimal or no defects. • Utilizes and participates in the more complex full system development life cycle, per current Highmark SDLC standards. • Takes a lead role in collaborating with customers, business analysts, partners, and IT team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions. Concentrates on providing innovative solutions to more complex business needs. • Takes a lead role in providing required technical support, including release implementations, on-call and 24x7 supports when necessary. • Performs work in compliance with all Highmark and Highmark IT standards, policies and procedures. • Actively takes a leading role and participates on project teams in various project roles, including, but not limited to, Developer, Technical Lead and Project Manager, based upon level of experience. • Effectively communicates with team members, customers, partners and management, including assisting with or conducting more complex technical walkthroughs, reporting project status, enabling vendor solutions and providing accurate and concise documentation. • Other duties as assigned or requested. Role Specific Expectations • Candidate with 7+ yrs of experience in Java/Spring development. • Should have exposure to Microservices architecture with REST API. • Hands on experience in devops tools like Git , Gradle is must. • Should have performed design to deployment of a micro services application. • Having knowledge on Cloud is added advantage. • Should have handled NFR( Non-Functional Requirements) development. • Good communication is must as the role requires interaction with architects. • Basic knowledge in Python is added advantage. • Should have performed design patterns for developing web application and hands on integrating the front end/backend applications. • Knowledge on cloud SDK in GCP is preferred and experience in GCP tools like Cloud Run , Fire store , App Engine , Cloud function. • Should have participated in code review, design review for the deliverables from the team. • Experience in analyzing SonarQube static code analysis is a must for the role.
