Role: Project Manager - Build & Release ManagerExperience: 12 to 18 yearsWork Locations: Ramanujan IT City, Tharamani, Chennai & MindSpace Hi-Tech City, Madhapur, HyderabadWork Model: HybridTime Zone: 3PM to 12AM IST (Both the way cab will be provided)Website Address: https://www.thryvedigital.com/Parent Organization: https://www.highmarkhealth.org/hmk/index.shtmlResponsibilities:Team Leadership & Mentorship:1) Lead, manage, and mentor a team of engineers specializing in build, deployment, and release management.2) Foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment that values innovation, continuous learning, and knowledge sharing.3) Conduct performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and identify opportunities for individual growth and development.4) Recruit, onboard, and retain top talent within the team.Strategy & Planning:1) Define and implement the overall strategy for build, deploy, and release management, aligning it with the company's broader technology roadmap and business objectives.2) Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all processes and procedures.3) Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure team effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.4) Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks to the software delivery pipeline.Process Optimization & Automation:1) Continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the build, deploy, and release processes through automation and optimization initiatives.2) Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using industry-best practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.).3) Develop and implement robust monitoring and alerting systems to ensure timely detection and resolution of issues.4) Champion the adoption of DevOps principles and practices across the organization.Infrastructure Management:5) Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams to ensure the stability and security of the deployment infrastructure.6) Oversee the configuration and maintenance of build servers, deployment environments, and related infrastructure.7) Implement and maintain appropriate security protocols and controls throughout the software delivery lifecycle.Collaboration & Communication:1) Effectively communicate with stakeholders across various departments, including engineering, product management, and operations.2) Proactively identify and address potential conflicts or roadblocks in the software delivery process.3) Participate in cross-functional initiatives to improve overall software development and delivery processes.
