Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Java AWS Technical Architect with around 10 to 15 years of experience in the IT industry, including at least 6 years as a Technical Architect. The ideal candidate should have expertise in developing secure, decoupled, and resilient Microservices.

Roles and Responsibility

Design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient Java-based microservices architecture.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
Develop high-level and low-level technical documentation for knowledge sharing and continuity.
Evaluate and recommend appropriate products and technologies to meet business needs.
Work effectively in an Agile environment, making informed decisions within fast-paced delivery.
Identify and highlight technical/functional project-specific assumptions, risks, and decisions.
Prepare high-level and low-level technical documentation.
Assist in resolving complex technical issues, queries, and clarifications raised by the Offshore team.

Job Requirements

Experience working with Java 8+ with multi-threading, Junit, Spring Ecosystem - Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, Spring MVC, Spring security, Spring JdbcTemplate, Drop wizard, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Cucumber, Docker, Jenkins, ReactJS, and other relevant technologies.
Strong understanding of GDS (Government Design Principles) and their application in software development.
Ability to meet deadlines and think strategically, along with excellent problem-solving skills.
Good team player with strong communication and collaboration skills.
Experience working with public cloud platforms, such as AWS, including SaaS and PaaS offerings.
Familiarity with template engines like Mustache and Thymeleaf is desirable.
Experience with Swagger, Tomcat 8, Maven, Sonar Cube, Jenkins, GIT, Postman, and RESTful Services is beneficial.

Ability to evaluate and recommend right product/technology.
Experience with Agile working.
Ability to make effective decisions within fast-moving delivery.
Identify and highlight technical/functional project-specific assumptions, risks & decisions.
Identify NFRs (Non-functional requirements) and ensure operational / Non-functional requirements are addressed as part of design. Review the performance testing strategy, toolsets and guide the testing team in the execution of appropriate non-functional testing.
Help to resolve complex technical issues, queries, and clarification raised by the Offshore team.
