Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Junior Lecturer - IT Trainer (Basic Computer & MS Suite) located in Pune. The Junior Lecturer will be responsible for preparing and delivering educational content for IT Skills using our bilingual methodology, which combines sign language and English communication. Day-to-day tasks include lesson planning, teaching, assessing student progress, mentoring, and contributing to curriculum development. Collaboration with faculty members to ensure a holistic learning experience for students is also a key part of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience in lesson planning, teaching, and student assessment
• Strong mentoring and interpersonal skills
• Strong Communication Skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with faculty members
• Adaptability to learn Indian Sign Language (ISL)
• Commitment to the educational and personal growth of deaf and hard of hearing students
• Masters degree in Information Technology or related field
• Prior experience in Deaf education will be considered an advantage

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Develop and implement engaging IT content.
• Create engaging lesson plans that incorporate a variety of instructional strategies to promote active participation and critical thinking.
• Deliver effective IT lectures using diverse teaching methods.
• Utilize a variety of assessment tools and techniques to measure student understanding and progress, providing timely feedback to support growth and achievement.
• Develop a positive environment where all students feel valued, respected, and supported in their learning journey.
• Utilize technology to enhance learning experiences.
• Establish a positive and structured classroom environment for effective understanding and comprehension for students.
• Maintain accurate records of academic performance, attendance and other relevant data.
• Generate and analyse reports to assess the effectiveness of academic programs
