Job Summary:

The IT Support Executive will be responsible for maintaining the school’s IT infrastructure, providing technical assistance to staff and students, and ensuring smooth operation of all computer systems, networks, and software applications.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Support & Troubleshooting

  • Provide first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, projectors, and other IT equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely manner.
  • Install, configure, and update operating systems and software applications.
  • Support users in troubleshooting internet and network connectivity issues.

2. Network & System Maintenance

  • Monitor and maintain LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi networks, and CCTV systems.
  • Assist in managing servers, routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Ensure regular data backups and system security checks.

3. Asset & Inventory Management

  • Maintain an updated inventory of all IT assets.
  • Manage the issuance and return of IT equipment to departments.
  • Coordinate with vendors for repair, replacement, and procurement of IT items.

4. Classroom & Lab Support

  • Ensure proper functioning of smart classes, computer labs, and biometric devices.
  • Assist teachers and students with academic software and e-learning platforms.
  • Perform routine checks of IT infrastructure in classrooms.

5. Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain logs for issues, resolutions, and system performance.
  • Prepare regular reports on IT activities, maintenance, and equipment status.
  • Follow IT policies and ensure compliance with data security guidelines.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of relevant IT support experience (preferable in an educational institution).
  • Strong knowledge of hardware troubleshooting, Windows OS, MS Office, networking basics.
  • Familiarity with CCTV, biometric systems, and smart class equipment.
  • Good communication skills and ability to support non-technical users.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
