Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Resolves and/or facilitates the resolution of customer IT support issues for end users at business unit / function / site level
Meets with end users and business leads to understand and represent their requirements for IT infrastructure / applications /services to the central IT team and Vendors
Provides feedback to central IT team on customer issues
Educates customers on IT infrastructure and applications and relevant standards
Identifies specific training resources to improve usage of technology tools
Assists application launch teams in defining implementation plans and in supporting launch activities with required user training
Recommends process and technology improvements that streamline operations and improve customer satisfaction
Creates and maintains complete and accurate support documentation for all IT related activities
Enforces Corporate IT standards to maintain the integrity of the IT infrastructure and applications
Monitors IT support service metrics working with central IT team and vendors
Stays abreast of current technological developments in IT products and services- Shares knowledge and experience with other IT team members and key users as required

Qualification and Experience

- Undergraduate in Engineering, Postgraduate in Computer Applications

- 4 to 5 years of with increasing responsibilities in user support, with experience in day-to-day IT operations, customer service, and/or problem resolution
