Job Description

As an IT Support Specialist, your primary responsibility will be troubleshooting and problem-solving technical issues reported by users. This includes diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network problems efficiently. You will also be tasked with the installation and configuration of computer systems, software applications, and network devices to ensure optimal performance. Your role will involve providing technical support to users through various channels such as phone, email, and chat while documenting solutions for future reference. Additionally, you will be responsible for the maintenance and monitoring of systems and networks to guarantee smooth operation. Implementing and maintaining security measures to protect systems from threats will also be part of your duties. Creating and maintaining documentation, including user guides and troubleshooting procedures, will be essential to facilitate user understanding. Effective communication of technical information to both technical and non-technical users is crucial. Collaboration with other IT teams and departments to resolve complex issues will be necessary for success in this role. Staying updated with the latest technologies and trends in IT is vital to ensure you can provide the best support possible. Your technical proficiency in computer hardware, software, and networks will be crucial, along with your problem-solving skills to analyze issues and implement effective solutions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with outstanding customer service abilities, will be key to providing exceptional support and building positive relationships with users. Your ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and issues effectively, along with your willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing environments, will be beneficial. This is a full-time position with day shift working hours on weekends only. The preferred experience for this role is 3 years in IT support, and the work location is in person.
