It Service Desk Executive

Role & responsibilities

Role Summary

Responsible for end-user support, Google Workspace administration, and complete IT asset lifecycle from procurement to disposal. This role ensures smooth IT operations through ticket lifecycle management, vendor and billing coordination, compliance with IT policies, training, and maintaining high service levels across all locations.

Key Responsibilities

IT Service Desk Operations

• First point of contact for IT incidents, service requests, and access issues.
• Ensure complete management of ticket lifecycle in the ITSM system with SLA compliance.
• Maintain a knowledge base and update support documentation.

Google Workspace Email Administration

• Manage day-to-day Gmail/Google Workspace operations and user access.
• Create & configure

  user accounts, group emails, shared mailboxes

• Perform

  user offboarding

  — ID deletion/disable, data backup, transfer of ownership.
• Configure

  email forwarding, mailbox delegation, password reset

  .
• Troubleshoot email delivery issues, spam filters, MFA, and security alerts.
• Maintain

  SLA

  for email services and ensure minimal downtime.
• Monitor Google Admin Console for security & compliance violations.

IT Asset Lifecycle Management

• Manage

  procurement to disposal

  of IT hardware.
• Maintain an accurate

  IT Asset Register

  , tagging, inventory tracking.
• Coordinate with HR for onboarding/offboarding hardware movement.
• Warranty tracking, AMC follow-up, refurbishing & secure disposal (data wipe).
• Maintain service reports, damage/lost asset documentation.

Vendor & Payment Coordination

• IT vendor coordination for installation, maintenance, and delivery timelines.
• Track service SLAs, AMC, and warranty escalations.
• Maintain

  billing and PO documentation
