As an IT Sales Executive specializing in Networking Products - both Active and Passive, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth within the networking domain. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement innovative sales strategies to capture new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients and partners. In this dynamic role, you will conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify potential market segments for networking products. Your expertise in both active networking components such as switches, routers, firewalls, wireless access points, and passive networking elements like cabling infrastructure, racks, and power distribution units will be essential. To excel in this position, you must possess a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field along with 1-3 years of proven experience in IT sales, with a focus on networking products. Strong technical skills encompassing networking concepts, protocols, and technologies are a must, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, and VLANs. Your success will be measured by your ability to deliver compelling sales presentations, negotiate effectively to close deals, meet or exceed sales targets, and provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales cycle. Additionally, your role will require you to track and analyze sales performance data, prepare reports for management, and collaborate effectively with internal teams to drive business growth.
