Job Description

An IT Sales professional is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying and acquiring new clients, as well as nurturing relationships with existing ones. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge, sales expertise, and strong communication skills to present complex technology in a clear and compelling way.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation and Prospecting:
  • Identify and target potential clients through market research, cold-calling, networking, and digital prospecting tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
  • Develop and execute strategies to generate new business opportunities and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, understanding the client's business needs, challenges, and goals.
  • Sales Process Execution:
  • Conduct initial sales meetings and needs analysis to determine if products or services are a good fit.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, product demonstrations, and proposals.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to close sales and achieve or exceed sales targets and quotas.
  • Respond to formal procurement documents like Requests for Proposals (RFPs) or Invitations to Tender (ITTs).
  • Technical and Product Expertise:
  • Develop a deep and thorough knowledge of the company's hardware, software, and cloud-based solutions.
  • Articulate the technical specifications and benefits of products to a non-technical audience.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure proposed solutions can meet client requirements.
  • Market and Industry Awareness:
  • Stay informed about the latest industry trends, technologies, and competitor offerings.
  • Analyze market potential and provide feedback to management on customer needs and emerging opportunities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month

Experience:

  • IT sales: 1 year (Preferred)
