IT Project Lead

The ideal candidate will be part of a team responsible for executing key HR digital transformation initiatives to support Schneider's people strategy for the HR business. As a member of the team, your primary responsibility will involve managing workstreams related to the technical impact mitigation of strategic programs and initiatives within the allocated IT capability. Reporting to the Internal Mobility and Skills Capability Leader within the Schneider Digital team, the role requires a proactive and experienced IT Project Lead. The main focus will be on managing and delivering complex IT projects, with a specific emphasis on system and data migration initiatives. Strong leadership skills in leading cross-functional teams, coordinating project activities, and ensuring the successful implementation of IT solutions are essential for this role. Prior experience in the HR domain would be beneficial. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the execution of IT projects in alignment with business goals. - Manage multiple migration activities including planning, execution, and validation. - Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. - Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans. - Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies. - Ensure quality standards and compliance throughout the project lifecycle. - Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders. Skills and Experience: - Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. - Minimum of 6-8 years of experience, with at least 5+ years in leading IT projects, particularly involving system or data migrations. - Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid). - Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. - Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Confluence). - Strong knowledge of digital tools and technologies including HRIS, AI, automation, data analytics, and cloud-based solutions. - Understanding of agile methodologies and their application in technology projects. - Knowledge of data privacy and security regulations. Desired Experience: - Experience with specific HR technology platforms (e.g., HCM solution, Information systems, etc.). - Knowledge of industry best practices and trends in HR technology. - Experience in cloud-based AI tools implementation.
