IT procurement

Role & responsibilities

• Procurement Management:

  Lead and manage the procurement process for IT hardware, software, and professional services. Ensure that procurement activities are aligned with the organizations strategic goals and operational needs.

• Vendor Management:

  Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with key vendors and service providers. Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure the best terms and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.

• Budgeting and Cost Management:

  Oversee IT budgeting, ensuring that all expenditures are tracked and aligned with the companys financial goals. Analyze spending patterns and implement cost-saving initiatives.

• Compliance and Risk Management:

  Ensure procurement activities comply with legal, regulatory, and company standards. Mitigate risks associated with procurement processes and vendor relationships.

• Cross-functional Collaboration:

  Work closely with IT, finance, and other departments to understand their procurement needs and align procurement strategies accordingly. Facilitate communication and collaboration across teams to ensure efficient procurement processes.

• Reporting and Analysis:

  Prepare and present detailed reports on procurement activities, budget status, and cost-saving initiatives to senior management.

Experience:

  Proven experience in managing IT budgets and tracking expenses.
