IT Operations Manager

As an IT Operations Manager at Arcesium, a global financial technology firm, you will be an integral part of the Corporate Technology team based in Gurugram. Your role will involve collaborating with Specialists to oversee all operational activities related to IT Operations across multiple office spaces. You will work closely with key stakeholders across geographies to ensure operational efficiency and adherence to defined processes and Service Level Agreements. Your responsibilities will include supervising and managing a team of Specialists to ensure the optimal quality and service delivery that meets Service Level Agreements. You will need to demonstrate proficiency in operations procedures, maintain effective communication, and establish performance metrics for processes and team members. Additionally, you will foster productive working relationships within the team, boost morale and productivity, and provide guidance on operational matters. As an IT Operations Manager, you will be accountable for monitoring end-user compute infrastructure, resolving system issues, overseeing installations, upgrades, and configurations of hardware and software, evaluating system performance, and recommending enhancements. You will also handle escalated issues, offer support and guidance to stakeholders, and collaborate with various departments to address operational challenges. In addition to managing day-to-day operations, you will lead and oversee projects by setting timelines, defining deliverables, and aligning them with business objectives. This includes analyzing reports and data to evaluate productivity levels, identifying areas for improvement, developing custom reports to monitor operational metrics, and supervising key initiatives such as user migrations, upgrades, and audits. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, monitor progress, mitigate risks, and ensure successful project completion within set parameters. The ideal candidate for this role should have more than five years of experience, preferably in a technology or financial firm. Essential skills include excellent computer proficiency, organizational abilities, and proven experience as an IT Operations Manager. Experience in project management for enterprise product implementation is crucial, along with expertise in system and application installations, configuration, and analysis, as well as a solid understanding of policy, planning, and strategy. Moreover, candidates should possess knowledge of Windows and Cloud platforms like Azure, experience in designing and implementing technical infrastructure, proficiency in OS management and network administration, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, and switching, and familiarity with Azure infrastructure components. Leadership and team management skills are essential, along with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams. Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Cisco Certified Network Associate are advantageous. Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills are required for this role. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter with a structured and action-oriented approach, a sense of urgency, and the ability to meet deadlines. Additionally, the candidate should excel in handling multiple projects simultaneously, making important strategic decisions, and overseeing inventory requirements and hardware purchases at regular intervals.,
