Job Description

Job Summary:

The IT Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the organization's IT infrastructure and ensuring the seamless operation of all IT systems. This role involves coordinating with internal teams and external vendors, implementing best practices, and continuously optimizing processes to enhance system performance and security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • IT Infrastructure Management:

    Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems (Windows & O 365 etc..), networks, Saas Applications, and security solutions.
  • Team Leadership:

    Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, performance evaluations, and development opportunities.
  • Incident & Problem Management:

    Manage and resolve technical incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes.
  • System Monitoring & Optimization:

    Ensure continuous monitoring of IT systems, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues to minimize downtime.
  • Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination:

    Collaborate with third-party vendors and internal stakeholders to negotiate contracts, manage SLAs, and ensure service quality.
  • IT Policy & Compliance:

    Implement and enforce IT policies, procedures, and security standards to align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Project Management:

    Lead IT projects, from planning and execution to delivery, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
  • Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity:

    Design and maintain disaster recovery plans and conduct regular testing to ensure business continuity.
  • Asset Management:

    Maintain proper Asset register

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in IT operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, SaaS, cybersecurity, cloud services, and enterprise applications.
  • Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, CISSP, or equivalent) are a plus.
