IT Network Admin

We are seeking an experienced Network Administrator responsible for managing and securing enterprise-level Data Centre, WAN, and LAN networks. The role involves overseeing daily network operations, handling new infrastructure projects, managing vendors, and ensuring 100% uptime of mission-critical systems supporting financial market operations.This position demands strong technical expertise in network architecture, security, routing, switching, and SD-WAN, along with experience in audit compliance, capacity management, and network modernization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Network Management:Maintain and administer Data Centre, WAN, LAN, and SD-WAN networks ensuring high availability
• Install, upgrade, configure, and troubleshoot network devices (routers, switches, etc )
• Hands-on with Cisco ISR Routers, Catalyst/Nexus Switches, and related network technologies
• Manage protocols like TCP/IP, HSRP, OSPF, BGP, SD-WAN, ensuring optimal performance
• Proactively monitor and resolve network incidents and outages
• Implement configuration and change management processes to maintain system stability
• Prepare and maintain network documentation, reports, and vendor budgets
• Network Security:Administer and maintain network security infrastructure (Firewalls, DNS, Proxy)
• Configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot Cisco NextGen Firewalls, Cisco Proxy, and VPN technologies (S2S, AnyConnect)
• Conduct periodic reviews of firewall rules, IPS signatures, and access profiles
• Analyze and respond to security incidents and ensure compliance with security policies
• Provide security training and awareness to IT staff
• Project & Vendor Management:Lead design, procurement, and implementation of new network and security projects
• Collaborate with OEMs and System Integrators for solution sizing and device selection
• Manage RFP preparation, vendor negotiation, and procurement process for network infrastructure
• Operations & Compliance:Ensure 100% uptime of Data Centre and remote networks
• Support BCP drills and audit compliance activities (internal, external, and VA/PT)
• Review and close all network-related audit observations and incidents
