IT Manager

The responsibilities of this role include overseeing daily IT operations, which encompass network infrastructure, servers, databases, hardware, and software systems. You will be leading the IT team in designing, developing, implementing, and supporting technology systems. Additionally, managing IT projects such as upgrades, migrations, and deployments to ensure timely and within-budget delivery will be a key responsibility. Another important aspect of this role is the development and enforcement of IT policies, procedures, and best practices. It will also be your responsibility to ensure that data security, backup, and disaster recovery plans are established and tested. Evaluating and recommending new technologies to enhance efficiency and support business growth will also fall under your purview. Managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts for software, hardware, and services is crucial. Monitoring IT performance metrics and providing regular reports to senior leadership will be part of your routine tasks. Moreover, providing technical support and training to users across the organization will be essential. Maintaining compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and security standards such as GDPR, ISO 27001, etc., is a critical responsibility of this role.
