IT Infrastructure Project Manager

As an experienced IT Infrastructure Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading integration, migration, and operations management projects. Your role will involve end-to-end project execution, stakeholder coordination, risk management, and ensuring seamless infrastructure transformation aligned with business objectives. You should have a strong background in networking, cloud, security, and IT operations within an enterprise environment. Key Responsibilities: - Lead infrastructure integration and migration projects across on-premise, cloud (AWS/Azure), and hybrid environments. - Manage data center migrations, cloud transitions, and IT infrastructure consolidation projects ensuring minimal downtime. - Define and implement network, security, server, and storage migration strategies aligned with business goals. - Collaborate with IT architects to establish integration frameworks, security policies, and compliance standards. - Oversee IT infrastructure operations to ensure high availability, performance, and security standards. - Implement ITIL-based service management processes, including incident, change, and problem management. - Drive efficiency improvements through automation, monitoring, and proactive capacity planning. - Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and SLAs for infrastructure services and technologies. - Develop and execute project plans, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies for IT transformation initiatives. - Work closely with business units, engineering teams, and external vendors to align IT infrastructure with business needs. - Drive stakeholder engagement through regular project updates, governance meetings, and reporting dashboards. - Identify and mitigate risks impacting infrastructure stability, security, and scalability. - Lead infrastructure project teams, including network engineers, system admins, and operations staff. - Provide mentorship, technical guidance, and leadership to team members to enhance skills and performance. - Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the IT operations team. Required Skills & Experience: - 10-12 years of overall IT experience, with at least 5-6 years in project/program management. - Strong background in IT infrastructure integration, migration, and operations management. - Expertise in networking (Cisco, Juniper), cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), virtualization (VMware), and IT security. - Deep understanding of ITIL, PMP, or PRINCE2 methodologies for service and project management. - Experience in large-scale data center migrations, cloud transformations, and IT modernization. - Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate across technical and business teams. - Experience in budgeting, cost optimization, and vendor negotiations for IT services. - Exposure to automation (Ansible, Terraform), DevOps methodologies, and IT monitoring solutions (Nagios, SolarWinds, ServiceNow, Splunk). Preferred Qualifications: - Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL v4, AWS/Azure Certified, CCNP, or equivalent. - Industry Experience: Exposure to automotive, manufacturing, BFSI, or large enterprise IT environments. - Tools & Platforms: Experience with Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, and ITSM platforms.
