Description
As an SAP ECC Functional Consultant in Ahmedabad, your primary responsibility will be to lead the functional activities for ECC company code rollout in a greenfield environment. You will work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, perform detailed analysis, and prepare and validate AS-IS and TO-BE processes aligned with pharma industry compliance standards such as GxP and GMP. Additionally, you will be expected to configure and test SAP modules, identify gaps, propose functional specifications for customizations, and coordinate with ABAP/Interface Consultants for necessary WRICEF Objects. Furthermore, your role will involve finalizing Interface FS, collaborating with partners and interface consultants, conducting Key User Training, and supporting data migration efforts. You will also be responsible for Master Data Handling, preparing cutover and go-live plans, providing hypercare support post go-live, ensuring audit-readiness, and compliance with documentation standards. Collaboration for S/4HANA readiness by aligning configuration and processes with S/4 best practices will also be a key aspect of your role. For Module-Specific Expertise in SAP PP (Production Planning), you should have experience in process and discrete manufacturing with a focus on the pharma industry. Expertise in BOM, routing, work center, production versions, and cross-module experience, especially with PP, QM, and EWM modules, will be required. Additionally, hands-on experience with MRP, batch management, shop floor control, and exposure to PP-PI and S/4HANA changes will be beneficial. In SAP QM (Quality Management), you should have experience in quality planning, inspection lot processing, results recording, and integration with MM, PP, and batch management. Designing COA, layouts, supporting system validation, handling quality notifications, certificates, and audit trails are also essential. Awareness of S/4HANA changes in inspection lot handling and embedded analytics will be valuable. For SAP MM (Materials Management), proficiency in procurement, inventory management, valuation, and invoice verification is required. Strong integration knowledge with WM/SD/PP, experience with release strategies, and familiarity with S/4HANA changes in inventory views and business partner model are necessary. In SAP CO (Controlling), deep knowledge in cost center accounting, internal orders, profitability analysis, product cost planning, cost object controlling, actual costing, and finance is essential. Integration with FI, MM, and PP for actual cost tracking, analyzing financial impacts, and awareness of S/4HANA universal journal and Fiori-based reporting are advantageous. In SAP SD (Sales and Distribution), expertise in order-to-cash, pricing, billing, credit management, returns, batch, and serial number integration with SD, integration experience with MM, FI, and EDI processes, and awareness of S/4HANA delta changes are required. To qualify for this role, you should have at least 8 years of SAP ECC functional consulting experience, with at least one end-to-end implementation or rollout project experience. A good understanding of pharma domain processes, regulatory compliance, functional knowledge of S/4HANA, strong documentation, communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage client stakeholders are essential. Desirable skills include exposure to SAP Activate methodology, familiarity with SAP Solution Manager and testing tools, GxP validation documentation, compliance awareness, and prior experience in pharmaceutical or life sciences projects.
