IT Infrastructure Manager

• As part of Eurofins Environment Testing Europes IT Infrastructure Support Crew, the Cloud Operations
• Manager will play a key role in running and supporting our Cloud IT infrastructure. This position requires
• expertise in domains like Microsoft Azure, Server OS, Active Directory and related technologies.
• You will work closely with cross-functional IT Crews to ensure seamless operations, support projects,
• and drive new infrastructure improvements. A collaborative mindset and adaptability to a multicultural
• environments are essential for success.

Responsibilities

• Manage Cloud team in day-to-day activities, ensure our staff delivers valuable service
• Manage Major Incident resolution to achieve minimal or no business impact
• Keep the Cloud Infrastructure compliant with company standards, security policies and up to date
• Act as an expert advisor to senior leadership in Cloud related decisions
• Contribute to Cloud Architecture improvements, changes and optimizations
• Maintain cloud costs within given budgets together with Finance Operations crew
• Build, hire & motivate your team to achieve a success in above

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Technical Skills

• Minimum 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure support, design, deployment, and cost management
• Minimum 5 years of Azure IaaS, PaaS support experience
• Solid experience with the deployment and support of Windows Server 2016/2019/2022, including File servers, Active Directory and associated Windows roles and features.
• Automation oriented mindset using Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell. Other technologies are welcome. Be able to drive your team to use those tools.
• Understanding of Cloud Networking, Routing and how it interacts with on-prem and hybrid environments
• Experience with Windows Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), including offline root and subordinate configurations.
• Proficiency in utilizing monitoring tools to ensure system performance and availability.
• Knowledge of other on-prem and public cloud vendors will be an asset
• Knowledge of CI/CD, code repository, software development principles will be an asset

Soft Skills:

• 4+ years of experience in management of IT Infrastructure teams in Cloud environment with engineers reporting directly to you
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, as you will work in a highly international environment.
• Able to coordinate multiple projects and smaller yet important tasks. Be able to manage and prioritize backlog activities without supervision
• Good presentation skills in front of technical and non-technical audience
