Job Title: Automation Engineer (Python & PowerShell)

Position Summary: As an Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining automated solutions that optimize our infrastructure and enhance productivity. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, Systems Administration, and Development, to streamline processes and ensure seamless operations.

Responsibilities:

• Scripting and Automation:
• Develop, maintain, and enhance automation scripts using Python and PowerShell.
• Automate repetitive tasks related to infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, monitoring, and deployment.
• Infrastructure Automation:
• Design and implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to automate server provisioning, scaling, and maintenance.

• Security and Compliance:
• Implement security best practices within automated workflows.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Documentation:
• Maintain clear and concise documentation for all automation processes.
• Train team members on using and maintaining automation tools.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with development teams to understand application requirements and optimize deployment processes.
• Collaborate with system administrators to improve system reliability and performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as an Automation Engineer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Python and PowerShell scripting.
• Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Puppet).

• Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) are a plus.
