IT Helpdesk

As an IT Helpdesk Fresher at TechSmew Innovations Pvt. Ltd., located in TIDEL Park, Taramani, Chennai, your primary responsibility will be to troubleshoot and resolve basic IT issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and operating systems. You will be tasked with installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware, software, and peripheral devices. Additionally, you will perform basic tasks in Active Directory, such as password resets and user account creation. Providing support for MS Office, Outlook, VPN, and internet connectivity will also be part of your role. Keeping track of service requests in the IT ticketing system and escalating unresolved issues to Level 2/3 support as needed is crucial. Furthermore, you will assist with IT onboarding/offboarding processes, including system setup and access provisioning. The ideal candidate for this position should hold a Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, along with at least 1 year of experience in IT Helpdesk or Technical Support. Basic knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office Suite, and networking is required. Strong communication and customer support skills are essential, as well as the willingness to work in rotational shifts. Freshers will initially be considered for an internship role, with potential for further opportunities based on performance during the internship.
