Integration & Test Lead Engineer
for its R&D team who will be responsible for building and leading a world class test team to execute any and all testing required for Xona’s PULSAR service and payload hardware. You’ll have full ownership over building out test capabilities and ensuring the efficient delivery of Xona payloads through V&V. Additionally, you will provide strategic oversight for integration planning and operations of Xona’s production floor. We’re not here to incrementally improve GNSS. We’re here to redefine it from the ground up.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
- Experience with design for manufacturability (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA) and providing feedback to the Engineering design team
- Experience with highly automated test infrastructure
- Experience applying various levels of automation within a digital factory framework
- Direct management experience of engineers, specialists, and/or technicians.
- Experience with space flight components and spacecraft environmental testing
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, or equivalent) and 5+ years of relevant experience
- Strong teamwork, professionalism, and adherence to safety and quality standards
- Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and attention to detail
- Experience with thermal, vibration, shock, EMI/EMC, and acoustic testing
- Proficient in writing test plans, procedures, and analyzing test data
- Ability to develop processes, test assets, and tooling for new and existing hardware
- Contribute to design reviews and offer input on testability and supply chain
- Ability to support testing during critical campaigns, including travel and 24/7 availability
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
