Job Area: Information Technology Group, Information Technology Group > IT Engineering General Summary: knowledge in of UNIX Operating systems like Red Hat Enterprise Linux / Ubuntu/SUSE and Solaris should be flexible and have cross platform working knowledgeStrong troubleshooting skills in Unix operationAdministration of physical and virtual infrastructure UNIX based hosts in complex heterogeneous environmentsFundamentals Storage technologies, SAN and RAID conceptsDatacenter OperationsHands on experience in configuring and deploying Hardware devices like HP DL/BL Series Servers, Sun Hardware, Super Micro and Dell - Enclosures/Blade hardware platformKnowledge of Micro services like Docker & KubernetesConfiguration tools like Ansible is requiredInvestigation, diagnosis and resolution of technical issues affecting service availabilityknowledge on server PXE installation, kickstart configurations, patching and package managementResponsibilities include managing of servers across the locations which includes Linux, Solaris, and a footprint of VMware in a critical production environmentAfter-hours escalations relating to critical business activitiesKnowledge transfer among multiple team members and sharing of service responsibilities, Rotational on-call Minimum Qualifications: 3+ years of IT-related work experience with a Bachelor's degree. OR 5+ years of IT-related work experience without a Bachelors degree.
