IT Engineer

Job Summary:

The IT Engineer is responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining the organization’s hardware, software, and networking systems. They will provide technical support, troubleshoot system issues, and ensure smooth and secure IT operations across the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• System Installation & Maintenance
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, and networking equipment.
• Perform regular system updates and patches.
• Technical Support
• Provide on-site and remote support to users for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems efficiently.
• Network Management
• Monitor and manage LAN, WAN, and internet connectivity.
• Ensure network security through firewalls, antivirus, and access control.
• Data Security & Backup
• Implement and manage data backup solutions.
• Maintain IT security protocols to prevent unauthorized access and data breaches.
• Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain asset inventory, licenses, and configuration documentation.
• Prepare periodic IT performance and incident reports.
• Vendor & Asset Management
• Coordinate with vendors for IT procurement and service agreements.
• Track IT equipment lifecycle and maintenance schedules.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 2–4 years in IT infrastructure and support roles.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems.
• Hands-on experience with networking (routers, switches, firewalls).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Workspace) is a plus.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles.
• Soft Skills: Problem-solving, communication, and time management skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹9,564.67 - ₹59,815.93 per month
