Role Overview: As an Auditor in the IT Internal Audit team at Qualcomm India Private Limited located in Hyderabad, you will play a crucial role in assisting the Audit Committee and management teams in enhancing processes to manage risks related to achieving Qualcomms business objectives. You will be part of the Corporate Internal Audit & Advisory Services (IA & AS) team, utilizing a risk-based audit methodology to ensure control effectiveness and process improvements. Key Responsibilities: - Provide U.S. based time zone coverage as required, up to 50% of the time - Assist in creating initial planning memos and process flowcharts - Identify and assess initial risks and control activities - Design audit procedures to evaluate control effectiveness - Conduct audit testing, identify deviations from expected control activities, and communicate observations effectively to the audit team - Incorporate data analytics in the audit process where applicable - Stay updated on changes in the business and industry to evaluate impacts on the companys risk profile - Contribute to the development of new concepts, techniques, and continuous process improvements for the IA team Qualifications Required: - 1-3 years of relevant experience in internal auditing, external auditing, or SOX compliance within a global public company, preferably in the high-tech industry, Big 4/mid-tier accounting firm, or similar fast-paced corporate setting - Strong understanding of IT general controls, cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, COBIT), and ERP systems - Fluent in English; multi-lingual capability is a plus - Ability to travel infrequently to Qualcomms domestic and international locations - Semiconductor business experience or familiarity - Excellent communication (oral and written) and presentation skills - Fast learner with strong interpersonal, organization, analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills - Comfortable working in a flexible, non-hierarchical team environment - Proactive, responsible, and able to work independently with a sense of urgency - Positive attitude, professional maturity, good work ethic - Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines with high-quality deliverables Additional Company Details: Qualcomm places a strong emphasis on diversity and expects all employees to actively support diversity within their teams and the company.
