IT Associate

As an IT Associate based in Vadodara, you will play a crucial role in providing hands-on IT support for our Vadodara center. With a strong focus on CCTV operations and maintenance, your responsibilities will encompass end-to-end on-ground IT support to ensure the security infrastructure and tech setup run smoothly. Your key responsibilities will include the setup, maintenance, and monitoring of CCTV systems throughout the facility. This involves tasks such as installing, configuring, and maintaining CCTV systems, ensuring real-time monitoring, timely backup of surveillance footage, and troubleshooting camera or DVR/NVR-related issues while coordinating with vendors when necessary. In addition to CCTV support, you will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware issues related to laptops, desktops, routers, printers, and classroom tech devices. It will be vital for you to maintain an inventory of IT assets and ensure timely repairs or replacements when needed. Furthermore, you will diagnose and resolve basic networking issues such as LAN, internet, and WiFi outages. Your role will also involve coordinating with ISPs or the internal IT team for escalations as required. Managing AV systems, smart boards, and mic setups used in live classes will also fall under your purview, along with providing prompt on-site IT support to faculty and staff members. Maintaining detailed logs of CCTV checks, system health, IT issues raised and resolved, and assisting in the onboarding setup for new employees will be crucial aspects of your reporting and documentation responsibilities. To excel in this role, you should have at least 13 years of hands-on experience in CCTV handling and IT hardware support. Familiarity with CCTV troubleshooting, DVR/NVR systems, camera placements, basic networking, and internet troubleshooting is essential. Strong communication, coordination skills, a proactive attitude, and excellent problem-solving abilities are also key requirements. While not mandatory, experience working in educational institutes or high-footfall environments and knowledge of IT ticketing tools and asset tracking would be advantageous.
