Job Description:

The IT Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining the organization’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, systems, and software. This role ensures smooth day-to-day IT operations, provides technical support to staff, and implements security protocols to safeguard company data and systems.

Key Responsibilities :

  • 1. System & Network Administration
  • Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, servers, and network systems.

2. IT Support & Troubleshooting

  • Provide technical assistance to end-users (hardware, software, and connectivity issues).
  • Respond to helpdesk tickets and resolve IT-related issues promptly.
  • Set up and maintain workstations, laptops, and other IT equipment.

3. Data Management & Security

  • Implement data backup and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Ensure cybersecurity best practices are followed (antivirus, patch updates, etc.).
  • Monitor system logs and security alerts to identify potential threats.

4. Software & Application Management

  • Install, update, and manage licensed software and operating systems.
  • Coordinate with vendors for application and system support.
  • Maintain IT asset inventory and software license documentation.

5. Policy & Compliance

  • Enforce IT policies, data protection guidelines, and access control standards.
  • Support IT audits and compliance checks.
  • Assist management in planning IT budgets and procurement needs.

6. Communication & Coordination

  • Liaise with internal teams and external vendors for IT-related requirements.
  • Train employees on new systems, tools, and security awareness.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure maximum uptime.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
  • Oversee LAN/WAN connectivity, firewalls, and VPN configurations.

Candidate Requirements:

  • location: Must be based in or willing to relocate to Kochi.
  • Experience: 2–4 years in IT administration with hands-on experience in CCTV handling.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Network management (routers, switches, firewalls)
  • Active Directory, Office 365, or Google Workspace
  • Backup and recovery tools
  • Cybersecurity awareness
  • Soft Skills: Good communication, problem-solving, and time management.
  • Qualification: Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science.
