IT Admin Intern

The role is suitable for candidates with 0 to 6 months of experience. There are 2 vacancies available for the internship program which has a duration of 2 months. As an intern, your main responsibilities will include assisting with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems, networks, and servers. You will also be providing technical support to employees by troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network issues. Monitoring network performance, security, and system updates to ensure efficient system operations will be part of your duties. Moreover, you will be involved in managing user accounts and permissions in Active Directory and other IT platforms. Supporting the installation and configuration of software applications and updates, documenting IT procedures, system configurations, and troubleshooting guides for future reference are essential tasks. Additionally, you will assist with backup procedures, disaster recovery planning, and participate in IT-related projects. Researching new technologies that could benefit the organization and maintaining/updating inventory of IT equipment, software licenses, and tools will also be expected from you. To qualify for this position, you should have completed a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field like BE IT or B.Sc. IT. Basic knowledge of IT infrastructure, including networking, hardware, and software systems is required. Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows, Linux, macOS, and office productivity tools will be beneficial. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential. An eagerness to learn and gain hands-on experience in IT administration is highly valued.
