Position Summary:

We are looking for a highly experienced professional to lead sales and project execution in the Defence sector (Land, Naval, Airforce). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling defence products and components, engaging with government and PSU stakeholders, and managing large-scale projects end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead sales and project execution activities for defence equipment and components.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with Government R&D Labs and Defence PSUs (DRDL, ARDE, VRDE, ASL, Ordnance Factories, Mazagon Dock, Goa Shipyards, etc.).
• Drive business development efforts, identify new opportunities, and manage key accounts.
• Manage the tendering process, bid submissions, negotiations, and contract finalization in compliance with defence procurement policies.
• Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, production, and supply chain) to ensure timely project delivery and quality compliance.
• Monitor project progress, resolve bottlenecks, and ensure cost and time efficiency.
• Provide market intelligence, competitor analysis, and strategic inputs to management.
• Represent the company at industry forums, exhibitions, and client meetings.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• 15+ years experience in defence sales/project execution.
• Strong liaisoning experience with Govt. Labs and Defence PSUs.
• Technical knowledge of defence manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Proven track record in handling defence tenders and long-term contracts.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong project planning and execution capabilities.
• Candidates preferred from companies like L&T Defence, Bharat Forge Defence, Mahindra Defence, Tata Advanced Systems, Adani Defence, Solar Industries, Electropneumatics, Teetagarh Wagons, Godrej, etc.
