We are seeking a hands-on IoT Technician to assist with the installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance of Industrial IoT (IIoT) systems across manufacturing facilities. You will work closely with our engineers and project teams to ensure smart devices and sensors are installed correctly and integrated into factory systems. Key ResponsibilitiesInstall and configure IoT devices, sensors, gateways, and wiring at factory sites Assist in the setup of network connections, edge devices, and power sources Support engineers in testing device connectivity, data logging, and troubleshooting Coordinate with client staff and site managers to ensure safe and correct installation Maintain documentation of each installation (photos, diagrams, log sheets) Conduct basic troubleshooting of hardware, sensors, and cabling issues Update firmware or software on devices as per instructions Maintain inventory of IoT kits, tools, and materials Travel to client sites in Coimbatore and surrounding areas as needed 🧠 Required Skills & QualificationsDiploma / ITI / B.E. in Electronics, EEE, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or related fields Strong hands-on experience with electronics, wiring, or embedded systems Basic understanding of IoT devices, sensor types, and industrial protocols (e.g., Modbus, MQTT is a plus) Ability to read simple wiring diagrams and follow technical instructions Familiarity with mobile apps or tools for configuration (Bluetooth/Wi-Fi pairing etc.) Willingness to travel to factory floors and work in industrial environments Good communication and teamwork skills ⭐ Preferred (Not Mandatory)Previous experience in automation, PLC panels, smart factories, or IoT installations Basic understanding of networking (IP, Wi-Fi setup, router configuration) Driving license and personal vehicle (travel allowance will be provided) 🎯 What We OfferExposure to real-world Industry 4.0 projects On-the-job training on IoT systems and protocols Performance-based bonuses Travel allowances Growth opportunities in a fast-growing smart manufacturing startup
