Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional with proven expertise in Debt Syndication & Construction Finance. The role involves deal origination, structuring, fundraising, financial modelling, and transaction execution for real estate developers by engaging with banks, NBFCs, credit funds, and financial institutions.

Key Responsibilities

Transaction Execution

• Originate and execute debt syndication mandates for construction and real estate projects across various sectors.
• Information Memorandums (IM): Prepare comprehensive IMs establishing project viability and financial feasibility.
• Financial Modelling: Develop detailed financial models based on realistic cash flow assumptions for construction projects.
• Pre- & Post-Sanction Activities: Coordinate project evaluation, appraisal, and legal documentation activities before and after sanction.
• Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with banks, NBFCs, financial institutions, and credit funds for construction financing.
• Client Engagement: Liaise with corporate clients in the construction and real estate sector to understand their financing requirements.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with technical evaluation agencies, legal counsel, and valuation experts throughout the transaction process.
• Financial Analysis & Documentation: Conduct thorough financial analysis and risk assessment of construction companies and projects.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong expertise in debt syndication, construction finance, and structured lending.
• Proficiency in financial modelling, credit appraisal, and investment research.
• Proven ability in deal origination, investor networking, and transaction execution.
• Excellent relationship management, negotiation, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• MBA (Finance) / CA / CFA or equivalent.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in Debt Syndication, Construction Finance, or Project Finance with a real estate focus.
