Inventory Controller

Job Brief:

The Inventory Officer/Executive is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring proper stock levels, and optimizing inventory control procedures. This role involves monitoring stock movement, coordinating with procurement and warehouse teams, and ensuring timely availability of materials to support smooth business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Maintain and update inventory records accurately in the system (ERP or inventory management software).

* Monitor stock levels and identify shortages, excesses, and obsolete items.

* Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies between system records and actual stock.

* Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams for timely replenishment of materials.

* Verify and record incoming and outgoing materials, ensuring proper documentation and authorization.

* Prepare and submit periodic inventory reports to management (daily, weekly, and monthly).

* Analyze inventory data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for cost reduction.

* Implement and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for inventory management.

* Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and audit requirements.

* Support internal and external audit processes by providing required documentation and reports.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹11,000.00 - ₹13,000.00 per month
