Job Description

The role of Assortment Lead - ES EMEA involves working with all divisions/networks in ES-EMEA and leading the central Inventory Assortment Process for the business. As an Assortment Lead, your responsibilities include managing Regional Inventory initiatives, leading SCM transformation projects, developing tools to enhance inventory health, and providing analytical support to optimize inventory across the business. You will be responsible for preparing and aligning inventory expectations and forecasts, as well as owning central inventory reporting for ES-EMEA. Additionally, you will coach, train, and guide Analysts on Plan For Every Part (PFEP) and Inventory Assortment initiatives to improve inventory quality ratio. Reporting directly to the EMEA SIOP Manager, you will also support in leading Inventory initiatives across the region, act as a single point of contact for SIOP leads, and provide analytical support for businesses. Your role will involve leading SCM transformation projects, managing Regional Inventory initiatives, and developing models/tools to improve inventory health. You will demonstrate strong functional knowledge related to materials management, supply planning, and inventory performance measures, and work on driving improvement projects with a consultative approach. To qualify for this role, you should be an Engineering Graduate with a preference for a Post Graduate degree, especially an MBA in Operations/Supply Chain/Materials/Production. You should have 8 to 12 years of relevant experience in Inventory Management, Material Planning, and supply chain management in global environments. Additionally, possessing CPIM, CSCP, or PMP certification would be an added advantage. The ideal candidate for this role should have a solid understanding of SIOP, Material planning, Inventory Management, MRP, and demand/supply challenges. Proficiency in MS Office, especially Advanced Excel and Power Point presentations, is required. Hands-on experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP, is preferred, along with exposure to Power BI, SQL, and PowerBI query building. Technology savviness, including knowledge of Kinaxis RR, would be beneficial. Key skills for this role include change management, thought leadership, ability to work in a matrix, results-oriented mindset, customer orientation, coaching abilities, influencing skills, and strong communication skills.,
