Location: Remote + On-site (Himachal Pradesh – Bini village) Duration: 2–3 months | Stipend: ₹5,000–₹8,000/month + Travel support (if required) Start Date: Immediate About the Project: We are launching a sustainable dried fruit business in Himachal Pradesh focused on reducing post-harvest loss and creating rural livelihoods. The project involves processing apples, plums, pears, and persimmons through solar/electric dehydration. ⸻ Key Responsibilities: • Conduct market research for dried fruit buyers (B2B and retail). • Identify suitable platforms and channels for sales (hotels, organic stores, exporters). • Assist in costing, product pricing, and packaging strategy. • Support in setting up a pilot processing unit and documenting the process. • Create a feasibility/project report for scaling. • Coordinate with farmers and suppliers. Who Should Apply: • Students/freshers in Agribusiness, Food Technology, Rural Management, Sustainability, or Economics. • Must have basic knowledge of costing, supply chains, or product development. • Comfortable working independently and in field conditions. • Strong research and documentation skills.
