Position: International Telesales Caller (Night Shift_USA Shift)

Role Type: Full-time, outbound B2B voice process
Shift Timings: 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. IST (Night Shift)
Location: On-site (e.g., Kolkata, India) Job summaryThe ELD Telesales Caller will contact potential business customers (B2B) in the US and Canada to sell Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs) and related telematics solutions. The primary goal is to generate and qualify leads, present products effectively, negotiate, and close sales over the phone. Key responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound calls: Initiate and manage outbound cold calls to prospective clients in the US and Canada using pre-defined scripts.
  • Generate and qualify leads: Proactively identify and qualify potential leads to build a robust sales pipeline.
  • Deliver sales pitches: Present compelling information about ELD products and telematics solutions to prospects, highlighting benefits and unique selling points.
  • Understand customer needs: Engage with prospects to understand their needs and challenges related to fleet management and compliance.
  • Handle objections: Address customer concerns and handle rejection professionally and calmly.
  • Close sales: Negotiate and finalize sales deals with customers over the phone.
  • Maintain CRM records: Accurately update and maintain records of calls, prospect information, and sales activities in the company's CRM system.
  • Meet sales targets: Consistently achieve or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly targets for call volume and sales.
  • Follow up: Master the art of following up with potential leads to nurture relationships and convert prospects.
  • Stay informed: Develop and maintain a deep knowledge of the ELD market, product offerings, industry trends, and compliance regulations (e.g., FMCSA).

Skills and qualifications

  • Experience: Prior experience in international outbound sales, telemarketing, or a similar B2B sales role is essential.
  • Language: Excellent verbal communication skills in English, with a clear and professional phone etiquette.
  • Sales skills: Strong negotiation, objection handling, persuasion, and closing abilities.
  • Product knowledge: The ability to quickly learn and articulate information about ELD devices, their features, and their benefits.
  • Tech-savvy: Familiarity with CRM software and other relevant telecalling tools.
  • Mindset: A target-oriented, self-driven, and resilient attitude, with the ability to work independently in a high-pressure environment.
  • Adaptability: The ability to adjust communication style based on the customer and situation.
  • Shift flexibility: Willingness and capability to work the designated night shift hours consistently.
