Role Overview:

The International Therapeutics Sales Manager will be responsible for driving global sales of

ophthalmic therapeutic drugs, expanding market presence, achieving revenue targets, ensuring

regulatory compliance, and building strong client relationships. This role requires a seasoned

professional with proven international sales experience, particularly in ophthalmic

pharmaceuticals, and a strategic mindset for business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales & Business Development

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve international sales targets for

ophthalmic drugs.

  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities in Asia Pacific, Africa, Latin

America, Europe, Middle East, North Africa, and SAARC regions.

  • Build, manage, and nurture strong distributor/dealer networks across regions.
  • Coordinate product launches and marketing strategies tailored to different international

markets.

2. Market & Regulatory Expertise

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to understand regional therapeutic

drug trends, pricing, and demand.

  • Stay updated with country-specific regulatory requirements and oversee product

registration and approvals.

  • Work with RA (Regulatory Affairs) teams to enter developed markets, complying with

stringent regulatory norms (e.g., USFDA, EMA, TGA).

3. Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Design and execute long-term growth plans in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Provide sales forecasts, budget planning, and profitability analysis for assigned

territories.

  • Work closely with Marketing, Product Management, and RA teams to align strategies

and ensure commercial success.

4. Team Management & Leadership

  • Lead and mentor a team of regional sales managers, business development executives,

and support staff.

  • Set performance targets, monitor KPIs, and provide feedback, training, and support.
  • Foster a results-driven and collaborative work culture.

5. Client Relationship Management

  • Build and sustain strong relationships with key clients, KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders), and

institutional buyers.

  • Represent the company at international exhibitions, conferences, and client meetings.

6. Travel & Representation

  • Willingness to travel extensively across global markets to build relationships, explore

opportunities, and oversee execution.

  • Act as the brand ambassador for Aurolabs therapeutic range in the international sphere.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum 10 years of international sales experience in ophthalmic therapeutic drugs.
  • Strong market knowledge of global pharmaceutical dynamics including pricing,

reimbursement, regulatory, and customer preferences.

  • Demonstrated success in sales achievement and market expansion.
  • Thorough understanding of international pharma regulatory requirements, dossier

submissions, and market entry strategies.

  • Proven ability in team leadership, strategic thinking, and cross-functional

collaboration.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and adaptable to multicultural environments.

Preferred Skills & Attributes:

  • Exposure to entering developed markets (e.g., Europe, USA, Australia).
  • Experience in handling tender businesses, NGOs, or institutional sales.
  • Fluency in multiple languages is a plus.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
