Job Description

The IA will be responsible for conducting audit & identify Risky activities in the branches assigned to him.The following will be major role and responsibilities of the Internal Auditor, with respect to the branches assigned to him.

Responsible for conduct of internal audit of 5 to 6 branches (depending on size)Ø Responsible of verifying end to end branch operating process by spending 10-15 days for each branch
This includes center meetings, processes (CGT, QT and CA), registers and other documents, branch administrative issues, HC related issues and overall smooth functioning of the branch.
Responsible for writing audit report with precision duly supported by evidence and share it with your manager or related stakeholders
Responsible to oversee and ensure that the operation team has complied with gaps identified during internal audit.
Responsible for surprise check of compliance and report to the management that the compliance submitted by the operation team is true in letter and spirit.
Regularly report deviant behavior at the field and send early warning signals or otherwise.
Gather information on the social performance, impact created by the company through its microfinance program by meeting customers, community, and staff feedback.
Identifying emerging operational risks in the branches resulting from internal factors like inadequate supervision, untrained staff, inadequate staff, interpersonal issues, or other reasons.
Responsible for pilferage (cash, assets, or any other kind) at all levels in the field.
Centre visit and interaction with clients to sense chances of fraud, manipulation or cases pertaining to loan pipelining, agent involvement etc.
Regularly visit OD cases, DC cases and Verifying the Loan Utilization check and adherence to all the processes laid down by the company.
Providing recommendations for improving business processes and suggesting various cost reduction.
