Job Description

As an Associate/Senior Associate- Internal Audit, you will be responsible for supporting and managing internal audit assignments across multiple business units and geographies. The role is ideal for a professional with 12 years of post-qualification experience who is looking to enhance expertise in audit execution, stakeholder management, and value-added reporting. You will be expected to contribute to the effective execution of the internal audit plan, improve audit quality, and gradually take ownership of smaller audit engagements. Key Responsibilities: - Support the execution of internal audits across different business units and locations. - Manage sections of larger audit assignments and lead audits independently when required. - Document audit findings with clear root cause analysis and propose actionable recommendations. - Prepare draft internal audit reports containing value-added insights for management. - Track and test the implementation of management action plans to close audit issues. - Establish and maintain strong working relationships with business stakeholders to facilitate efficient information gathering. - Assist in updating risk assessments and the annual audit plan. - Contribute to departmental initiatives and ad-hoc projects as assigned. Qualifications Required: - Professional qualification: CA / ACCA / CPA / CIA (or equivalent). - 12 years of post-qualification experience in internal audit, risk management, or related areas (Big 4 / consulting / industry experience preferred). - Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Exposure to audit management tools is an advantage. The company is looking for an individual with a strong understanding of internal audit methodology, risk, and controls. You should possess an analytical mindset with good problem-solving and documentation skills, along with strong written and verbal communication abilities. Additionally, the role requires effective time management, multitasking skills, and the ability to meet deadlines. A collaborative team player with the confidence to engage stakeholders will be well-suited for this position.,
