Internship Opportunity – Research Intern Special Focus: Food Technology Students/Graduates Preferred Location: Remote/Hybrid Duration: 2 Months (Opportunity for full-time role post internship) Department: Founder’s Office Start Date: Immediate Role Summary We are looking for a passionate Food Technologist (student or recent graduate) who wants to make an impact in the emerging space of plant-based pet nutrition . As a Research Intern in the Founder’s Office , you’ll work directly with the founder to explore ingredient functionality, food safety, nutritional value, and innovation trends in sustainable pet food. You will experience the inner workings of a startup and contribute to product ideation backed by real scientific research. Responsibilities Conduct detailed research on plant-based ingredients suitable for pet consumption. Analyze the nutritional composition, functional properties, and processing feasibility of selected ingredients. Support in benchmarking existing products and market trends in the pet food industry. Compile literature and technical documents on food safety, shelf-life, and regulatory standards. Translate research insights into actionable inputs for the product development team. Present findings directly to the founder and collaborate on strategic planning. Qualifications Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Food Technology (B.Tech/M.Tech). Strong interest in pet nutrition, sustainable food systems, or plant-based innovations . Good understanding of nutritional analysis, ingredient functionality, and food safety . Proficient in research documentation and clear communication (written and verbal). Highly self-motivated, organized, and eager to learn in a startup environment.
