Interior Designer

Key Responsibilities:

Client Consultation & Relationship Management:

• Lead client consultations to understand design needs, preferences, and project objectives.
• Develop and maintain strong, long-term client relationships to ensure repeat business and client satisfaction.
• Present design concepts, mood boards, floor plans, 3D models and 3D renderings to clients for approval.
• Provide ongoing updates to clients, addressing any concerns or adjustments throughout the design and execution phases.
• Prepare detailed design documentation, including sketches, CAD drawings, specifications, and material lists.
• Maintain accurate records of design changes, approvals, and project-related communication.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, presenting designs and updates, discussing revisions, and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Ensure all designs are completed within stipulated timelines and budgets. Strictly follow the Client deadlines and ensure the work in completed within the stipulated deadline by other team members.
• Client queries must be addressed and resolved on priority. There should be no escalations from clients.

Design Concept Development:

• Conceptualize and develop interior design plans that reflect the client’s style, functional requirements, and budget.
• Create innovative, aesthetically pleasing, and functional design solutions for various spaces, including residential, commercial, and hospitality projects.
• Select appropriate color schemes, furniture, lighting, materials, and finishes.
• Produce detailed design working drawings, 3D models, and specifications for each project.
• Oversee the entire design process from concept to completion.
• Develop and present design concepts and proposals.
• Create and review detailed working drawings, plans, elevations, and technical specifications for construction and installation.

Project Management & Execution:

• Oversee and manage multiple projects, ensuring they stay on track, within budget, and meet timelines.
• Coordinate with designers, vendors, inter departmental team members. and other professionals involved in the project.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure design integrity, quality control, and adherence to safety standards.
• Troubleshoot any challenges or changes that arise during the design and construction phases.
• Any other task as deemed fit by the management within the skills of a design consultant.
• Coordinate with Site engineer for regular site updates to review design progress and ensure that the project is being executed according to the approved design plan.
• Client queries must be addressed and resolved on priority. There should be no escalations from clients.
• Assist and prepare in Project BOQs.

Quality Control and Site Audits:

• Conduct thorough site audits to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
• Address any discrepancies found during audits and resolve them prior to project handover.
• Ensure that the executed work meets all regulatory requirements and quality expectations.

Team Leadership & Collaboration:

• Lead and mentor junior interior designers, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including site engineers, accounts executives and operation managers, to ensure a cohesive project outcome.
• Lead and mentor junior designers and team members, providing guidance and constructive feedback on design concepts, technical drawings, and presentations.
• Ensure all designs meet the highest standards of quality and creativity.
• Provide constructive feedback and guidance to team members.
• Send regular work allotment to the design consultants with specific deadlines and ensure the project deadlines are met.
• Ensure given client commitments are fulfilled by the Design team.

Skills:

• Proficiency in interior design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, 3D Modelling, 3D Rendering).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and client relationship management skills.
• Exceptional creativity and attention to detail, with a keen understanding of functionality and spatial design.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
