Interior Designer

The Interior Designer will manage the design process from initial concept to final installation. This includes consulting with clients to understand their vision, creating technical 2D and 3D renderings, sourcing materials within budget, and collaborating with contractors to ensure the project meets building codes and aesthetic standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Consultation: Meet with clients to determine project goals, lifestyle requirements, and budget constraints.
• Space Planning: Analyze how people move through a space to create efficient floor plans and layout designs.
• Concept Development: Create mood boards, sketches, and 2D/3D visualizations to present design ideas.
• Technical Design: Produce detailed blueprints (elevations, lighting plans, and furniture layouts) using CAD or BIM software.
• Material Sourcing: Select and procure furniture, fixtures, flooring, textiles, and color palettes that align with the design intent.
• Project Management: Coordinate with architects, electricians, and general contractors to ensure the design is implemented correctly and on schedule.
• Compliance: Ensure all designs follow local building codes, fire safety regulations, and accessibility standards (e.g., ADA).

Required Skills

• Category Specific Skills Technical Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Artistic Strong sense of color theory, texture, lighting, and spatial proportion.
• Project Mgmt Budgeting, vendor negotiation, and timeline management.
• Soft Skills Active listening, persuasive presentation, and complex problem-solving.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field.
• Portfolio: A strong professional portfolio demonstrating a range of styles and successful project completions.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with sustainable "green" design practices and modern building materials.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,126.73 - ₹15,000.00 per month
