Interior Design Manager

Job Description:

As the Associate General Manager - Design at Livspace, you will lead and oversee the design team to create innovative and functional interior spaces that meet our clients' needs. You will be responsible for managing multiple design projects from conception to execution, ensuring that all design work aligns with the Livspace brand vision and enhances customer satisfaction. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including sales, project management, and marketing, to ensure seamless delivery of design solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the design team in developing innovative interior design concepts that reflect client requirements and company standards.

- Manage project timelines and budgets while ensuring high-quality deliverables.

- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and requirements for their spaces.

- Review and provide feedback on design proposals, ensuring they are both aesthetically pleasing and practical.

- Stay updated with industry trends, materials, and technologies to incorporate into design practices.

- Mentor and develop the design team, fostering a creative and productive work environment.

- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for materials and furnishings to ensure timely project completion.

- Conduct site visits to verify design implementation and ensure adherence to project specifications.

Skills and Tools Required:

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant tools.

- Excellent understanding of interior design principles, trends, and best practices.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members.

- Experience in managing multiple projects with varying timelines and complexities.

- Ability to think creatively and solve problems efficiently.

- Knowledge of sustainable design practices and materials preferred.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.

- Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in interior design, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role.
