Interior Design Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design projects (residential, boutique retail, small commercial) from concept through handover
• Create mood boards, concept sketches, space planning, furniture layouts, lighting & material palettes
• Produce technical drawings, shop drawings, joinery details, FF&E specifications
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, architects, and suppliers
• Oversee on-site implementation, quality control, and site supervision
• Mentor and review the work of junior/intermediate designers
• Stay updated on material innovations, design trends, and sustainable practices
• Engage with clients directly, present design proposals, translate feedback into solutions

Qualification & Skills

• B.Arch or B.Des (Mandatory)

• 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in interior design (residential or boutique commercial)

• Strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual design to execution, with finely detailed cabinetry, joinery, custom furniture, lighting, finishes
• Excellent presentation skills (both verbal and visual)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp/3ds Max, Photoshop / InDesign / Illustrator
• Hands-on knowledge of materials, finishes, FF&E sourcing, and site execution
• Good project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong communication, client-handling, and stakeholder coordination skills
• Creative, self-motivated, ability to work under deadlines and deliver high standards
