Key Responsibilities:
● Develop test plans and procedures for drone systems, covering hardware, software, and communication protocols.
● Conduct tests to validate system functionality, performance, and reliability in various conditions (flight, ground station, data processing).
● Perform hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and software-in-the-loop (SIL) testing, leveraging automation tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
● Analyze test data to assess performance, identify issues, and generate comprehensive reports with findings and recommendations.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, and flight operations personnel.
● Resolve integration issues by working with engineers to implement corrective actions.
● Maintain detailed documentation of test procedures, results, and configurations.
Required Skill:
● Planning & Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive test plans for drone systems, including hardware, software, and communication protocols.
● System Validation & Performance Testing: Validate drone functionality across various conditions (flight, ground, data processing).
● HIL/SIL Testing: Expertise in Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and Software-in-theLoop (SIL) simulations for pre-deployment evaluation.
● Automation & Scripting: Skilled in test automation tools and scripting (Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW) to streamline processes.
● Flight Testing & Operations: Knowledge of UAV flight dynamics, telemetry, and control systems.
● Sensors & Communication Protocols: Familiar with GPS, LiDAR, IMU, MAVLink, RTK, and RF communication.
● Firmware & Embedded Systems: Experience with PX4, ArduPilot, and UAV firmware integration testing.
