Insurance Underwriter

You will be responsible for sourcing quotes for Health Products including Group Mediclaim, Group Personal Accident, and Group Term Life insurance policies. Your key tasks will involve drawing up quotes to offer competitive insurance premiums, negotiating and finalizing specific terms of insurance policies with insurance companies, and preparing comparative reports for quotes. Building strong relationships with Public sector offices by regular visits, liaising with specialists in insurance companies to gather information and opinions, and assisting the sales team in client interactions for large proposals will be an essential part of your role. Your responsibilities will also include analyzing loss exposures, determining underwriting alternatives, maintaining detailed records of policies underwritten, and decisions made. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Graduate or Postgraduate degree in any stream, with additional qualifications in the Insurance field preferred. A minimum of 2 years of Underwriting experience in the Insurance Broking sector is required, along with a sound knowledge of various insurance products such as Group Mediclaim, Group Personal Accident, and Group Term Life. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to work independently, engage comfortably with corporate CXOs, and demonstrate self-drive and enthusiasm to excel in the role. Previous experience in Mumbai location will be an advantage.,
