Insurance Specialist

• Role & responsibilities

1. Partner Acquisition 30% KPI

• Identify, onboard, and activate new insurance distribution partners including individual agents, POSPs, IFAs, and MF distributors.
• Evaluate potential of mutual fund partners and convert them into insurance partners.
• Strategically map the region to identify high-potential partners.

2. Partner Relationship & Business Activation 30% KPI.

• Build and nurture strong long-term relationships with acquired partners.
• Training Partner & his Team on products so that we can drive product mix as per our profitability.
• Provide training, onboarding support, and business tools to help partners succeed.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth issuance, payout, and support processes.
• Develop territory-level partner engagement and retention strategies.

3. Business Delivery 40% KPI

• Ensure regular and increasing business volumes from activated partners.
• Monitor and report sales performance against business targets.
• Drive insurance sales (Life, Health, General) through the partner network.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience working in NBFCs or fintechs.
• Ability to handle end-to-end partner lifecycle acquisition to business servicing.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
• 4-5 years of relevant experience in insurance sales via Agency, Bancassurance, or Partnership Channel.
• Existing relationships with insurance agents, POSPs, and mutual fund distributors in the respective city.
• Strong understanding of Life, Health, and General Insurance products.
