The Insurance Manager will work closely with healthcare staff, insurance adjusters, and patients to facilitate the timely resolution of claims and the effective processing of insurance payments.Key Responsibilities: - Manage the insurance claims process from initiation to resolution, ensuring accuracy and compliance.- Develop and maintain strong relationships with insurance companies and payers.- Monitor changes in healthcare regulations and insurance policies to ensure compliance.- Conduct staff training sessions on insurance processes and updates to ensure best practices.- Analyze claims data to identify trends, address issues, and improve processes.- Collaborate with billing and coding teams to resolve discrepancies in claims submissions.- Serve as a point of contact for patient inquiries related to insurance coverage and claims status.Skills and Tools Required: - Strong understanding of health insurance policies, medical billing, and coding.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.- Proficient in healthcare billing systems and electronic medical record (EMR) software.- Familiarity with regulatory compliance related to healthcare and insurance.- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with patients, staff, and insurance representatives.- Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis.
