Insurance Executive

Job Description – Insurance Executive Position Title: Insurance Executive Department: Billing & Insurance Location: Malar Hospital, Hosur Reports To: Billing Manager Job Purpose: To manage and coordinate all insurance-related processes, including pre-authorizations, claims submission, patient queries, and follow-ups with TPAs (Third Party Administrators), ensuring smooth and timely reimbursement of hospital bills. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate with patients, relatives, and TPAs for insurance documentation. Handle pre-authorization requests and get approval from insurance companies before procedures. Collect and verify insurance forms, ID cards, and related documentation from patients. Ensure proper documentation and uploading of patient case files for claim processing. Follow up with TPAs for claim approvals, denials, and payments. Maintain updated knowledge of insurance policies, procedures, and network hospitals. Resolve queries from patients or attendants regarding insurance coverage and eligibility. Maintain accurate and updated logs of claims submitted and received. Coordinate with the billing and finance team for reconciliation of insurance dues. Prepare regular MIS reports related to insurance claim status and rejections. Qualifications & Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or relevant field 1–3 years of experience in hospital insurance processing or TPA coordination Familiarity with hospital billing software and insurance portals Good understanding of IRDAI norms and medical terminologies Skills & Attributes: Strong communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with good documentation practices Ability to handle patient pressure and coordinate with multiple teams Fluent in Tamil and English (spoken and written) Proficient in MS Excel and hospital systems Working Hours Rotational shifts / Based on hospital schedule How to Apply Send your resume to hr@malarhospitals.com contact 8870166133 for more details.
