Job Overview Seeking a Senior Instrumentation Designer with strong experience in Smart Plant 3D (SP3D) to support offshore oil & gas projects, including FPSOs and subsea systems. You will be responsible for developing instrumentation layouts and 3D models, ensuring integration across engineering disciplines, and supporting project delivery from design to commissioning. Key Responsibilities Model instrumentation systems (cable trays, junction boxes, instruments) using SP3D Prepare detailed layouts, hook-up diagrams, IO lists, instrument index, loop and wiring diagrams Coordinate with piping, mechanical, electrical, and structural teams Ensure compliance with international codes (API, IEC, NEC, ISA) and HSE standards Support model reviews, clash detection, and offshore constructability assessments Assist with site technical queries, RFIs, redlines, and commissioning support Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, or related engineering discipline 6+ years of experience in instrumentation design, particularly with SP3D Experience in offshore oil & gas projects (FPSO, LNG, subsea, etc.) Knowledge of AutoCAD, MicroStation, and international design codes Familiarity with hazardous area classification, loop diagrams, DCS/PLC interfaces, and MTOs Show more Show less
