JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title : Inside Sales Team Lead B2B School Sales Location : Bangalore (WFO role- 6 days a week) Department : Sales – B2B Inside Sales Experience Required : 4–7 years (minimum 1–2 years in a team lead capacity) Industry: B2B Sales - EdTech / School Solutions About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic Inside Sales Team Lead to drive and manage a team focused on selling educational solutions to K–12 schools. This role is crucial in building a high-performing sales team that consistently achieves targets, creates a strong sales pipeline, and fosters long-term client relationships with schools and educators. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Management - Lead, coach, and motivate a team of inside sales executives to exceed lead generation, meeting setup, and closure targets. Monitor team performance daily/weekly/monthly using CRM and sales dashboards. Conduct regular training, feedback sessions, and performance reviews to ensure skill development and goal alignment. Train the team on product knowledge, call pitch, urgency creation Sales Strategy & Execution - Work closely with the sales team to align pipeline efforts and ensure seamless handoff of qualified leads. Implement outbound and inbound sales strategies for school outreach via calls, emails, and digital campaigns. Monitor and improve conversion rates across the sales funnel from outreach to closure. Client Interaction - Personally handle escalations and high-value or strategic accounts. Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to create compelling pitches and sales collateral suited for school stakeholders (principals, coordinators, trustees). Reporting & Process Improvement - Analyse sales data to identify trends, areas of improvement, and key success metrics. Optimize lead management, follow-up cadence, and inside sales workflows using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho, LeadSquared). Share weekly reports and insights with senior management. Key Requirements Education: Bachelor's degree in business, Education, or a related field (MBA preferred). Experience: 4–7 years in inside sales, with at least 1-2 years in a team leadership role. Domain Knowledge: Prior experience in B2B inside sales for Schools is mandatory. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and regional languages. Tools: Proficiency in CRM systems and productivity tools (Excel, Google Sheets, etc.). Mindset: Goal-oriented, data-driven, and team-focused with a passion for improving education through technology.
